In 1973, company president and owner Charles R. Stambaugh started with only one rubber-tired backhoe. Business in the 70's evolved around the completion of septic systems, foundations, and the installation of farm conservation practices. In later years, residential driveway paving was added and has since grown into full-time commercial paving of streets and highways.

By the early 80's, Stambaugh's, Inc. was well into industrial, commercial and site work. The company moved into the installation of underground utilities, water, sewer and storm drains.

As the Millieum approaches, Stambaugh's, Inc. has grown to include over 100 employees with a large diverse fleet of well maintained state-of-the-art heavy equipment to address any size job.
