In 1973, company President and Owner Charles R. Stambaugh started with only one rubber-tired backhoe.

By the early 80s, Stambaugh's Inc. was well into industrial, commercial, and site work. The company moved into the installation of underground utilities, water, sewer, and storm drains. Stambaugh's Inc. expanded in the 90s with the addition of a Redi-Mix Concrete Plant and front discharge mixer trucks within their concrete division.

Over the years, Stambaughs grew and adapted to the needs of the community. Well into the Millennium, Stambaugh's Inc. had grown to over 100 employees with a large diverse fleet of well maintained state-of-the-art equipment to address any size job.

In 2011 as the economy declined Stambaugh's downsized to better fit the current needs of the time. Stambaugh's maintained it's core team members, and many of them who have been part of the team for decades are still with us today. Stambaugh's rebounded from the downturn and continued being a pillar of the local community.

Unfortunately Charlie passed away on September 19th, 2017 after a seven year battle with CLL. Though he left tremendous shoes to fill, he passed the torch to his son, Ryan Stambaugh. Ryan has been living and breathing sitework since he was old enough to drive equipment. After graduating high school, Ryan started as a laborer in June 1990. Ever since, he has continued the Stambaugh's legacy just as his father did. Ryan manages and oversees all estimating and field operations. Charlie’s daughter, Shannon, returned to the family business upon his passing to join her brother Ryan. Shannon manages and oversees all financial and administrative operations.

The difficult decision was made in 2026 to close the concrete redi-mix plant. Stambaugh's is now focused on what has always set us apart from the rest: sitework and utilities. Our President, Ryan Stambaugh personally oversees the projects we take on, ensuring every project reflects the values we pride ourselves on.
